I improved version of the lalwyn diesel engine shutwn valve has been introduced. e principle of operation nains the same, but an ditional anti-flutter mechanism claimed to give the valve nore stable performance with iicie range of engines.
rhe valve is pressure sensitive if the engine overspeeds, induction air passing across valve seat creates a pressure differential and the valve slams shut.
