ACALL for a reduction in oil-fuel duty has been ma de by the Engineering Industries Association in their pre-Budget representations to the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The Association draw attention to the effect of transport charges on production costs, and state that the fuel tax also raises the cost of living by increasing fares.
