Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• More than 1,500 drivers are threatening to boycott Shell products if the company forces the closure of Savelloys Cafe on the A21 in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.

Jack Crossfield of the Drivers Action Movement has written to Shell Planning complaining at the way the company is treating the cafe owner, Christine Savell. She has run the truckstop for more than seven years but was threatened with closure when Shell decided to put the freehold site up for sale.

Savell says she has offered more than the advertised asking price of £100,000. But Shell has declined, saying that it has received a higher offer for the site (CM 17-23 November).
