The newly-built facility is on a site adjacent to the Bell container terminal at Newport, Gwent. It can carry out repairs and refurbishing on all types of dry freight containers and ISO tanks, in steel, aluminium and glass reinforced plastic.
A shot-blasting booth and paintshop, can take containers up to 12m (40ft) in length. Arlington will also repair bodywork on commercial vehicles.
JW Refrigeration, an associate company on the same site, has a separate and specially equipped maintenance bay for repairing refrigerated units on containers and trailers and carries a full stock of Thermo-King spares.
Mobile repair teams are also available to carry out on-thespot repairs in the Avonmouth and South Wales areas.
