THE proposed scale of charges to be used by the Minister of Transport as an additional tax on heavy indivisible load traffic was issued this week. The charges are cumulative, e.g. a vehicle weighing 90 tons and being 113ft by 10ft will be charged at the rate of £4 12s a mile.
