MW express services to be introduced by the East Kent Road Car Co. Ltd. this season were described by Mr. .1. M. Rodger, assistant traffic manager, at a recent agency conference. The services will be operated in conjunction with Midland Red, Yorkshire Traction and North Western.
Birmingham and Coventry will be linked to Canterbury and Thanet via the MI and M2 motorways, and the Dartford tunnel by a joint East Kent/Midland Red service; a joint service with Yorkshire Traction will link Folkestone and Halifax and Ramsgate and Keighley with interchange facilities between each service at Canterbury bus station; whilst a joint service with North Western will link Manchester and Ramsgate, via Canterbury.
