AN application for higher rates for the haulage of lime is to be made to the Ministry of Agriculture by the British Agricultural Contractors' Association.
The spreading committee of the B.A.C.A. are to ask the Government to expedite legislation to include agricultural chalk in the list of substances for which calibrated vehicles are needed.
