ADEMONSTRATION of the MagiritsDeutz Saturn IT City Line bus was given on Monday from London to Farcham, where the Gosport and Fare' ham Omnibus Co. have in operation the first double-deck buses to be fitted with Deutz air-cooled diesel engines.

The Saturn II, shown at the Commercial Motor Show, employs air suspension and is fitted with an air-cooled rear engine. The suspension is integrally connected with a Bosch pneumatic braking and door control system.

To eliminate engine rock, a rebound rubber buffer and steel arm are fitted on the off-side. .Special attention has been given to both heat and sound, and the engine compartment is glass-fibre lined,
