• Portsmouth-based Phoenix International, which went into administrative receivership last August, is on the verge of being sold. The sale could dash the hopes of five former Phoenix employees who wanted to buy the midibus builder's jigs to enable their new firm, Pentagon Vehicle Builders, to expand out of van conversion work.
