THE establishment of an independent motor industry in Israel was economically feasible, Mr. E. Illin, general manager of the Kaiser-Frazer assembly plant in Haifa, stated recently. Oil engines arc to be produced there. Sheet-metal components are to be exported to the Kaiser-Frazer factory in France for the assembly of jeeps.
