Econofreight pulls 13,000 tonnes

• Econofreight Heavy Transport, now part of joint Transport Development Group/BET-owned Econofreight United Transport, has just completed carrying 13,000 tonnes of loads for Britoil Clyde, North Sea Development.
In 17 days, 11 prefabricated stntctures, including a module support frame, modules and flare boom, were transferred from land on to barges at three fabrication yards on the Tyne, Tees and at Lowestoft.
Nearly all the structures were transported on hydraulic modular trailers.
