Transport manager Richard Koster manages deliveries at Safeway/ Morrison's regional
distribution centre in Richard Koster Bristol. "I ensure the
transport in and out of the RDC operates smoothly and to schedule," he says. His interest in the haulage industry began when his father ran an HGV recovery operation. From there he oined the transport section of the Grenadier guards, serving in the UK, Northern Ireland and USA.
After the army he worked for small haulage companies as driver and supervisor before joining Safeway. "I have seen the right way of doing things and the wrong way of doing things," he says.
