ANEW type of bus, made by the General Motors concern, Port Elizabeth, has been on a 3,000-mile tour of South Africa. It has been designed to meet both rural and urban condition, and has two folding doors, one in front and the other near the centre, operated by the driver through vacuum controls. The vehicle is mounted on a Chevrolet chassis and is of welded construction. Alternative seating layouts have been prepared.
