MILLBAY TO CLOSE IN APRIL • Plymouth City Council plans to close its Millbay overnight lorry park in April. It is looking for alternative temporary sites for lorry parking, but in the long-term the council is considering a purpose-built commercial truck park in the Plymouth area.

The Freight Transport Association is concerned that Millbay's closure will have a serious affect on local operators and is asking its members to contact its South Western regional office.
