SCANIA (Great Britain) will be offering factory fitted anti-lock braking systems as optional extra equipment on its 4X2 and 6x2 trucks and all bus models from the autumn.
Bosch and Wabco systems are being type approved. The Girling Skidchek and Anti Skid Controls Maxaret systems which Scania has been fitting in the UK under the notifiable alteration scheme will probably continue to be available, though not factory fitted.
