AN application has been made by Scottish Omnibuses Ltd., Edinburgh, to the Scottish Traffic Commissioners for permission to operate an express bus service between Edinburgh and Lanark via Currie, Carnwath and Carstairs Junction.
The service would operate from Monday to Saturday, with the buses timed to leave Edinburgh and Lanark at 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. respectively, and arrive at their destinations at 7.25 a.m. and 8.45 a.m.
