Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for repairs to roads near milkstands, and the provision of areas for collection vehicles to pull in? This question was discussed at last week's meeting of Northallerton Urban District Council.

The roads committee had proposed that the council should do the work, but Cllr. R. C. Pick said that this would establish a precedent which might be costly in the future. Cllr. L. W. Prest thought that farmers would be willing. to contribute towards the cost.

The matter, he said, was giving concern to county councils as well as local councils.
