PLANS to provide a bus station for , Halifax have been approved by the passenger transport committee and the civic development committee.

The projected station, which it is proposed to establish on a vacant site at Cross Field, will provide accommodation for all traffic to and from other towns to the north and east, as well as for about half the local services.
