• A huge fire has obliterated a major warehouse belonging to the distribution network of electrical retailer Powerhouse.
The fire on Sunday 3 February destroyed all of the 2,000m2 depot in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
Arson is not suspected but has not been ruled out, says a spokeswoman for Powerhouse, which only bought the warehouse from ScottishPower in October.
Around 30 firefighters battled for over four hours to bring the blaze under control, which could be seen from as far away as Ilkley Moor.
"First priority is our customers and sorting out deliveries," adds the spokeswoman.
