(Sales), has been elected chairman of the transport committee of UNICE — the European equivalent of the CBI.
Pearce, 49, lives and works in St Austell but travels thousands of kilometres each year throughout Europe on business. He is chairman of the Freight Transport Association's commercial committee, and his nomination for UNICE was made by the CBI following consultation with FTA.
