T. G. Gibb, who was general manager of the Freightliner division when it was part of British Railways, has been appointed managing director of Freightliners Ltd.—the company set up under the Transport Act in the joint ownership of NFC and BRB. Mr. Gibb has also been nominated as chairman of the board of directors. The NFC has nominated as directors: E. G. Marsden, secretary and chief officer of the BRS Federation Ltd.. and the THC Freight Association; L. S. Payne, managing director of British Road Services: and C. W. Reeves, chief financial officer, ORS Federation, and THC Freight Association. BRB has nominated as directors: W. 0. Reynolds, chief operating officer. BRB; S. C. Robbins, chief marketing manager, BRB; and A. W. Tait, chief finance officer, BRB. T. R. V. Bolland, formerly traffic manager of BR's Freightliner division, has been appointed assistant managing director; T. G. P. Bond, director of marketing: G. V. Burks, chief financial officer: G. R. Burt Iformerly planning manager of the Freightliner division), traffic manager; J. D. Billington, engineer; D. Watson, staff manager.
