AT an inquiry in Sheffield, on. January 30, local municipal authorities and trade unions opposed recent increases in trolleybus fares imposed by the Mex borough and Swinton Traction Co. Sir Edwin Herbert, for the company, said that expend4ure had outpaced receipts, and unless fares had been raised, there would have been a deficit this year.
