Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Bishop's Move Group has continued to expand outside the household and commercial removals markets by winning a contract with the Christie Tyler Group to run its new home delivery service.

South Wales-based upholstery manufacturer Christie Tyler is investing million a year in the operation.

Bishop's will employ 60 staff on the new contract, operating out of at least eight depots with 26 vehicles, eight drawbar trailers and 36 demountable boxes, bearing the Christie Tyler livery. It has negotiated a package with DJS Holdings' National Fleet division to supply the vehicles on contract hire from WS Contracts.

Bishop's Move Group director Christopher Bishop says: "We have recently sought to expand our interests away from our traditional business; the domestic removal market is not very big at the moment. Last year we bought two overseas shipping companies, Blatchpak in Exeter and a half share in Davis Turner. This year we are consolidating our move into new areas by running the dedicated delivery service for Christie Tyler.

"We will continue to look for other contacts in this field."

Christie Tyler, which runs a fleet of 150 vehicles, trunking goods from factories or to high street stores, chose Bishop's because of its expertise in the domestic removals market. Distribution manager Malcolm James says the service will cut out the wholesaler by delivering direct from manufacturer to customer's homes. "It will enable retailers to offer a more competitive, more professionally handled operation which will ultimately cut costs all round."
