• The auction of heavy commercial vehicles and plant in the Midlands has developed to such an extent that Central Motor Auctions is dividing its monthly commercial sales into two separate auctions.

From 6 February HGV and trailer sales at the CMA site in Shepshed, Leicester, will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, with Ministry of Defence vehicles and plant being sold on the third Tuesday of the month.

Eamon Longmore, manager of CMA Shepshed, says: "We have decided to separate out the sale in this way to accommodate the large monthly vehicle entry which is increasing all the time, and is currently close to the 300 for each sale.
