Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRUCKS COULD share bus lanes in Walsall if local residents give the thumbs-up to Walsall Council's congestion-busting scheme.

Under the proposal, lorries would have access to bus lanes on the A454 Wolverhampton Road from 7 to 10am and 4 to 7pm.

Local residents have until the end of August to submit feedback on the scheme. Council transport planner Simon Purohit informs CM that no opposition has yet been received.

If the proposal is supported, it will be taken to the Walsall Cabinet for application approval.

The plan takes inspiration from similar schemes that are proving a success in locations such as Newcastle and Norwich.

Purohit claims: "To reduce pollution, we can have a bypass: get lorries to move and speed up the traffic."
