Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A HEALTH and safety at work consulting service has been set up by former Government factory inspectors to help small firms.

Known as the HASP (Health and Safety Protection) scheme, it is based at Southampton but is available through most of Southern England and part of Eastern England.

It offers help and advice to small firms on the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Factories Act, and other health and safety rules and regulations. Two of the main objectives of the scheme are to keep costs low and to minimise paperwork.

Further details are available from Safety Executive Consultants Ltd, The White House, 342 Hill Lane, Southampton SO1 2PH.
