Sons has left two in-house drivers and one ownerdriver redundant. The bulk haulier, which has six other vehicles, says the bank will not lend it any money to replace its white and blue Foden 2000 Series 6x4 tractor (reg D445 GWX, chassis/engine 215455 /23199322, The other unit, a Scania 113, (reg F358 BWO, chassis/engine 5303619/1141646 ) has a blue cab and a red chassis. It belongs to owner-driver John Grant, who has been forced to cease trading.

H Brook & Sons is offering a substantial reward for information leading to the recovery of its Foden. Both vehicles were stolen on Monday 19 April between 04:00hrs and 04:45hrs from its depot at Haigh, just off J38 on the Ml, next to the Bretton Country Park.
