THE first medium-weight bus chassis to be. built in Spain by A.E C's recently formed associate company in Madrid, Barreiros-A.E.C., S.A., was on show at the recent Barcelona International Industrial Fair. Based on the A.E.C. Reliance design, it incorporates axles, gearbox arid other running units supplied direct from England. The frame is of local manufacture and the underfloor diesel engine was built by the Barreiros concern. The chassis is the first of 110 to be built initially.
