THE Minister of Transport proposes to amend the p.s.v. conditions of fitness regulations. Interested organizations are being asked to comment by late February.
The proposals recognize the need for economy, such as the use of double-deckers on stage service without conductors. They include provisions relating to electrical equipment; number, position and size of doorways; and width of gangways and their division by handrails to channel passengers towards fare
