THE Wisbech haulage firm, E. E. Burton, Ltd., has been taken over by Pointers Transport Services, Ltd., of Norwich, King's Lynn and Swaffham.
Mr. E. E. Burton, of Lynn Road, Walsoken, Wisbech, is giving up his transport business in order to devote more time to his farming and fruitgrowing interests. Twelve vehicles, six bulk liquid tankers and six Leyland rigid and artics, are involved in the deal and they will continue to be operated from the Burton depot at Walsoken,
