Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE MARKET leader for eight-wheelers in terms of sales is the Foden. As with ERF, engines from Rolls-Royce and Gardner can be supplied although there the similarity ends, as Foden uses in-house components for the clutch, gearbox and axles. The gearbox is the Foden eight-speed constant-mesh design while the final drive is unusual these days as it retains the long-serving overheadworm system.

The wheelbase is 5.75m (18ft 10in) while a typical chassis/ cab weight would be 8.83 tonnes (8 tons 13cwt) for the Rolls-Royce engined model.

Below : Market leader in terms of sales, the rotten has around 30 per cent of the eight-wheeler market
