Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A CURTAIN-SIDED Bedford fitted with an American-made TukA-Way underswung tail-lift has gone into service delivering Indesit domestic appliances.

The tail-lift is manufactured in Los Angeles by Maxon Industries. John Ratcliff (Tail Lifts) Ltd is the sole European agent, and via an exchange deal Maxon sells Ratcliff twin-post tail-lifts in the USA.

The Tuk-A-Way retracts itself under the tail of the chassis after it has been used. It is held by safety hooks which disengage only when the control handle is operated. A hydraulic ram does the retraction and lifting, powered by an electrically driven pump mounted on one side of the self-contained assembly. The weight of the lift is 450kg (9921b).

The Bedford has an unladen weight of 5.96 tonnes (5 tons 17cwt) and is fitted with a Booker curtain-sided body.
