HEAT IS ON • Bergstrom, the US-based manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning for trucks and buses, has opened a European headquarters in Birmingham. It will employ 50 and will begin producing equipment in the New Year. The premises are at Kingsbury Business Park, Sutton Coldfield.

UNWRAPPED IN TYNESIDE • Royal Mail Parcelforce has opened a distribution depot in South Tyneside, creating 12 jobs. The premises, at Bolden Business Park, Bolden Colliery, will handle 4,000 parcels a day.
