:IND of memorial service on eels was recently held in riour of Harry Cawthorne, inder of the haulage and ;ch firm of Majestic Motors, of rton, near Barnsley, who died .lier this year. It was to his role
as historic-vehicle collector in particular that tribute was paid in a rally of 100 vehicles of all kinds organised by the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society from Darton to Top Farm Agricultural Museum at West Hardwick, near Wakefield.
This was a pleasing way of remembering one of road transport's "characters" and a zealous preserver of its heritage.
