• North East municipal operator Darlington Transport has expanded its coaching activities by taking over two local companies.
Watsons of Hurworth and Rydal Coaches of Richmond will maintain their identities within the enlarged coach fleet of 18 vehicles, but the excursion and tours programmes of the two companies are being integrated with those of Darlington.
