'TWO substantial licence '' switches " I appear in publications received in the past week. In Scotland, Road Services (Forth), Ltd., ask to transfer nine articulated units from contract to A for the carriage of whisky in central Scotland. In the South East, Torn Robinson (Fleadcorn), Ltd., seek to transfer vehicles operating under C licence to B licence. They intend to use five vehicles for the collection of fruit and vegetables within 20 miles for delivery to markets and factories within 300 miles of Headeorn, in Kent. As an extension to these conditions, they also ask to carry similar goods for the Broome and Green group of companies within 300 miles. Fruit and vegetable hauliers not only in the South East but those based as far north as County Durham will be interested in this application.

The West Midland "As and Ds" contains its usual batch of B-licence applications for vehicles to work in connection with the construction of the M6 Motorway. Largest single application in this category comes from R. A. Davies (Midlands), Ltd., of Birmingham, who ask for ten dump trucks on a restricted radius.

There are several applications from different areas for caravan haulage, and a number of applications for " security ". vehicles from F.G.S. Industrial Security Services, Ltd. (formerly Factory Quard System, Ltd.), in several areas.
