• Northern Counties could be bought within the next three weeks, says administrator Grant Thornton, which has been running the Wigan-based bodybuilder since the end of May.
"One potential buyer is favourite now and there is a possibility of a deal, but the bid needs re-structuring," says Grant Thornton's Gordon Craig.
If the bid fails Grant Thornton will continue to run the bodybuilder until the end of next March.
