• Parceline's parent company Mayne Nickless reported a 3.6% drop in net operating profit to £.54m for the year ending 30 June, but Parceline was back in the black for the final quarter of 1990, although it made a loss for the year as a whole.
The Australian group has taken a 50% stake in two Italian parcels firms, Tavoni Trasporti and Bergaglio Trasporti, merging them to form a fleet of more than 150 trucks.
