• Michael Braithwaite from Penrith, Cumbria is the UK's Truck Tyre Fitter of the Year for 1995.

The competition, organised by the National Tyre Distributors Association and sponsored by Dunlop, was held at MIRA and carries a £1,000 prize.

Braithwaite joined ATS straight from school aged 17 and beat seven other fitters from around the UK for the title.
