ROUTEMAN MARK II SUCCESS: Orders for 45 of the new Scammetf Routeman Mark II rigid eight-wheelers were received on the opening day of the Commercial Motor Show to the total value of over £180,000. Deliveries will commence in January, 1963.

AUSTIN'S SUCCESS AT SHOW: At the Commercial Motor Show the Austin Motor Co., Ltd., received orders worth 050,000 from U.K. sources. The total value of orders placed at the Show for Austin vehicles was over £1.5m.

COMMERS FOR TURKEY: An order worth nearly £350,000 was received from Turkey by the Rootes Group on the eve of the closing of the Commercial Motor Show. The order was for 650 Commer l5-cwt. vans, light buses and Commer Cobs, and includes a quantity of spare parts. The vehicles have been ordered by the Rootes distributors in jstanbul, Otomak Turk Ticaret, Ltd., and will be shipped in C.K.D. form

Sales made at the Show by Rootes exceeded Lim.

JCBs for M6: Sir Alfred McAlpine and Son. Ltd. have ordered nine hydraulic excavator shovels from 1. C. Batnford (Excavators), Ltd., for use on the Warrington Preston and PrestonLancaster sections of the M6 Motorway. The order comprises six JCB 4s and three 'CB 3s.

FOR LIQUID OXYGEN: The British Oxygen Co., Ltd., have ordered 12 Albion Clydesdale chassis. They will be fitted with tanks for the transport of liquid oxygen.
