PEOPLE in the north of Scotland might suffer because of a "drift of traffic" from British Railways to road transport, Mr. S. K. Thompson, for British Railways, told the Scottish Licensing Authority last week.
Pulford Estates, Ltd., applied to run an additional lorry and to carry return loads from four places. Mr. Thompson alleged that railway traffic would lze abstracted.
The Authority granted a licence to run an extra vehicle and to carry return loads from Aberdeen.
