TWO NEW refrigeration units have been announced by Hubbard.

The 475 model is a one-piece bulkhead mounting unit with the compressor driven by the engine crankshaft or via a gearbox pto unit.

Subject to body specification and operating conditions, the 475H is suitable for chilled products down to 3°C (37°F) in bodies up to 6.7m (22ft). The 475L is for frozen products down to —18°C (-2°F) with a body length of 4.9m (16ft).

The Hubbard 1000 is suitable for frozen products in rigids and trailers in the 6 to 10m (19ft 8in to 32ft 10in).

It is driven by a twin cylinder air-cooled diesel engine with optional operation from a mains electric power source.
