NATIONAL CARRIERS Fleetcare has taken on Rod Macdonald as general manager for its new Bedford Commercial Vehicle franchise in Ipswich. He joins the company from the Mann Egerton Leyland Truck Centre at Ipswich where he was general manager.
Before this he was with Courtaulds in 1969 and before that spent many years in the advertising industry.
In his new role Mr Macdonald will be responsible for sales, servicing and parts activity at the new Fleetcare Truck Centre opening next month. The centre will represent its first major development since it became a separate business in October last year.
