QUITING for the first time as North Western Licensing Authority at Manchester on Monday, Mr. C. R. Hodgson was warmly welcomed by Mr. J. Coffey and Mr. J. Flackhouse, for the legal profession. and Mr. W. Ashmore, for British Railways.
Mr. Hodgson told those present at the public inquiry how he started his career in the area 36 years ago as a young railway solicitor at Hunts Bank. Now, after spells away in the Army and as East Midlands, L.A., he 'said: " I'm delighted to be back.":
