UNDER the reorganization plan of the National Association of Furniture Removers and Warehousemen, whereby the Association is establishing areas corresponding geographically to the statutory traffic areas, a meeting was held recently in Leeds for the inauguration of the .Yorkshire Area. Approximately 40 members were present.

What were the Leeds, Sheffield and Hull centres have become sub-areas of the new Yorkshire Area. Area chairman is Mr. George E.. Gilbey, of Gilbeys Transport, Ltd., Wakefield, who has been chairman of the Leeds centre for many years. Mr Lawrence Turnbull, MC., of Messrs. Turnbull, Leeds, is area secretary. Area meetings will be held quarterly in Leeds.

The inaugural meeting was addressed by the Association's president, Mr. E. G. Wright, of Leicester, and its secretary, Mr. E. A. Harris, of London.
