Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

In your "Ci and A" feature in the May 8 issue you replied to a question regarding the origination of the spring brake system, where someone is under the impression that it came from ERF Ltd.

The facts are that in this country at present Westinghouse sells in excess of 90 per cent of the spring brake actuators that are used, and which we manufacture, here in Bristol, under licence from MGM Brakes Incorporated, of California.

The unit that we supply is fitted as original equipment on Guy, BMC. ERF, Leyland and Scammell, and also exported to several European markets. G. C. S. CURTIS Publicity Controller, Westinghouse C. V. B. Ltd., Bristol.
