SHELL CLUB GROWS

• Membership of the Shell Diesel Drivers' Club has now reached more than 50,000 and is still increasing. The club is free for HGV drivers to join and, every two months, members receive a free magazine (Diesel Driver) delivered to their homes plus a range of discounts and benefits. There is also a growing range of club merchandise.

The Club will be at all the major trucking events during the year, with Club secretary Liz, "Miss Diesel Driver" Geri Perry and mascot Big Dez on hand to meet truckers. This trio will also be visiting Shell stations throughout the country

during the next few months.

There will be more of the very popular club nights with Jim "Bullseye" Bowen, held at trucks stops throughout the country, where members can enjoy an evening of entertainment with the chance to win valuable prizes.

Dates in the Club diary include:

E August 9 & 10, South East Truckers Club, Maidstone. 0 August 16 & 17, Truck Grand Prix, Silverstone.

O September 23, Club night with Jim Bowen, Newark Show Ground.

O November 10, Club night with Jim Bowen, Kemal Cafe, Walsall.
