Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

kavant has augmented of automotive garage e tools by introducing spot weld remover. Designated Part No. 400, it is designed for use with a standard electric/air drill with a recommended speed of 900 rpm for the removal of vehicle spot welds on roofs, door panels, floors, sub-frames and so on.

Cutting around welds on one surface only, the Zipcut eliminates the problem of panel distortion which occurs when chisels are used to cut through spot welds. Panel replacement time is also greatly reduced; the weld-button provides positive re-alignment for the original panel and new metal flows smoothly around the entire cut. When replacement involves new panels, the weld-buttons can be quickly ground off.

Special features incorporated in the design include an adjusting screw to control depth of cut, which allows the operator to cut cleanly through panels to correct depth. Cutting blades are of hardened steel which provide for fast cuts and give a long blade life; their life is increased by the use of reversible cutter blades.

Price: £1.80.
