WHEN United Fireclay Products, YV Ltd., was fined £100 at Linlithgow Sheriff Court recently on charges, relating to drivers' hours, a representative stated that much of the men's time was occupied with loading and unloading. Actual driving did not amount to more than eight miles per hour of duty.
