Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

While the European Engine Alliance (EEA) may be no more, the relationship between the two stakeholders remains. Consolidated Diesel Corporation will continue to supply CNH in the US with the NEF 6.7-litre engine, while Cummins will continue to supply C and L series 8.3and 8.9-litre units to CNN.

At the same time, Flat Powertrain Technologies will supply Cummins' UK operation with engine components from its Turin operations.

The EEA successfully helped its three stakeholders over the hurdle that was Euro-3. However, Euro-4 marked something of a divergence in approach, and so, in some respects, EEA was a good idea at the time, but its ending is recognition of the fact that times change.
